Entrepreneurship

Today I visited one Nicaraguan entrepreneur and interviewed for a while.

He owns his small business there. He is selling Chicken and other alimentation.
He started it in 2005 and it's growing without problem every year, according to him.

Mainly, I asked about how he started his business.

What surprised me was that there are few regulations and rules to start a business.
At least, compared to Japan, it seems like it's much easier to start business here.
(Though I have not conducted a detailed study about laws, regulations, rules and etc so I can't speak with conviction. I would like to do more research.)

Generally speaking, in matured society, there are lots of regulations to maintain the norm of the society.

But it sometimes deprives people of energy and creativity to start something new, I think.

In Japan, it is said that people, especially young generation is becoming conservative and less energetic.

But, maybe, one of the causes lies here.
There are too many regulations to start something interesting.

I am not saying it's not good to have regulations.

Of course, there are lots of merits about having regulations.

Thanks to the regulations and rules, Japanese society is so organized and safe.
I am sure that the lack of regulation is causing problems here in Nicaragua.

Everything has both positive and negative aspects.

I just wanted to present one viewpoint about inovation and creativity, which by the way, has became a bazzword of nowadays.
