Speciality (English)

It seems like it is always recommended to have speciality.

When I was in high school, my teachers and parents were always saying that I had to have speciality to get by.

But why?

They did not explane why. They just repeated that it is better to find my speciality as soon as possible and that could be an advantage of my professional life.

In those days, I did not understand why I have to have speciality and I could not find something special to devote my life to.

I was interested in many many things. I thought it is not a good idea to limit my possibility by choosing one speciality in the early stage of my life.

Nor I wanted to.

Now, after I studied and learned various things, I understand why I need to have speciality.
Well, I would not say I "have to" have speciality.

I just "want to" have speciality.

Why?

Well, thats gonna be a little bit of big story but, ok, Ill explane my opinion.

The world is not perfect.

So we take action to make this world a better place.

Making this world a better place is such a difficult and challenging thing because the problem is huge and complicated.

One cannot treat all the problems because his time, energy and ability are limited.

So, we can choose specific area that interests us to contribute to the world.

So, the reason why we had better have speciality is summarized as follows from my viewpoint.

"By having speciality, we can contribute to making the world a better place more efficiently than not having it. Having speciality is a way to use our energy efficiently to contribute to the world"

After I reached this conclusion, I want to have my speciality, even though I have not encountered something that I feel like I can devote my life to.

So speciality is an entrance for the new adventure; adventure to look for the better world.
